    Why don't you advertise your plasterboard prices?  

Plaster Brokers FIRMLY BELIEVE that, the only way to get the best deal on plasterboard, is to submit all products to be purchased, to at least 3 suppliers, including PLASTER BROKERS.

If we advertise our prices, we could be costing you money, and us a sale!

    There are several factors that determine the end price of your order.

  1. The size of the order.
  2. The different types of board required.
  3. Sundry items required.
  4. The delivery location and cost.
  5. Repeat business

Plaster Brokers is committed to providing all our customers, large or small, with the very best prices available.

Regardless of your decision to request a price from PLASTER BROKERS or not. We strongly recommend that you don't make a decision based on advertised prices, that may represent only part of your order.

YES.

To open an account with us we require that you establish a trading history with us first.
Our account customers are able to simply submit their orders, using our internet order form. They have the flexibility of placing orders at their convenience, day or night.

What payment terms do you accept? 

Back To Top     Why can't I pay COD? 

All our supplier stores are independently owned. They cannot receive payment on our behalf.

The exception to this is for some Melbourne deliveries, where the delivery is from our principal store. We will advise customers on request, if this option is available.


    Can you work out how much Plaster Board I need? 

We are happy to help our customers work out their Plasterboard order.

Where our customer would like many different size sheets, we have found it is far better to advise our customers how to work it out for themselves.

The reason for this is, you will know where to place every sheet.
If you send us your plans for new housing we will work out the material for you as a bulk load.

   


Can you tell me what I need in accessories?  

Working out the accessories for you, is more important than working out the sheets.

The reason for this is, most people can easily work out how many sheets are required, but have no idea how much glue, tape or basecoat etc. is required.

We have a computerized method of working out the basic accessories, based on the quantity of sheets. We are happy to work out the accessories for you.

If we see an order that seems to have too few, or too many, particular items, based on the quantity of plasterboard ordered. We will bring it to your attention. This will save you over ordering or having to pick up items, normally at higher prices.

Back To Top       How much is the delivery cost? 

Delivery costs will vary from location to location. Each of our supplier stores use different cartage contractors with different rates.

Plaster Brokers only pass on the exact cost of delivery. When quoting an order, we establish the closest store to the project and ask that store to quote the delivery for us.

     

Do your truck drivers unload?  

Unless there are special circumstances previously agreed, the cartage contractor will unload the sheets and place them inside your project.

Special circumstances, would include occasions, where taxi trucks or alternative transport is used to meet the special requirement of our customer.

For pass ups our customer is required to have a minimum of 2 people on site to accept the pass up from the drivers.

Back To Top     What do I do if my delivery is late?  

When we confirm the delivery time with our store, we provide you with a direct contact to the store providing the delivery service.

Delivery schedules for plasterboard can be affected by rain, traffic, difficult deliveries or many other reasons. If your delivery is later than agreed. you are able to call the store and get an update on the delivery time.


    Do your products come with a guarantee?  

Every product sold by Plater Brokers is backed by the relevant suppliers Guarantee.
We have provide links on our home page to the web sites of all our major suppliers.


    What do I do if something is missing off my delivery? 

It is important to check all the items on your order at the time of delivery.  If you find an item missing from the order contact us or the store, (we provide you with their contact details). We check the delivery dockets and orders, if we find an item has been left off the load, it will be delivered to you as soon as possible at no cost.


    What do I do if there are damaged goods on the delivery? 

We will act on damage claims, the same as if the good were missing off the load. It is the responsibility of our supplier to provide the goods in good order. With plasterboard delivery there is always the possibility of sheets getting damaged during delivery.

Damage good that require replacement will be replaced at no charge.


Back To Top     How do I make a claim if some goods are defective? 

Claims for defective products are quite different to damaged goods. If you find or have reason to believe any goods supplied are defective or have a manufacturing fault. Contact us as soon as the problem becomes apparent. We will contact a representative of the manufacturer to assess the product and rectify the problem.

At times minor defects can occur with plasterboard from any supplier. Often we can resolve these issues on the spot.


    Do you only sell BGC Plasterboard? 

Yes.

We have found BGC has consistently provides a quality product.
All the stores we deal with are very committed to customer service.
BGC have proven faultless in backing up their products with representation when required.
BGC plasterboard has a denser core than other brands, therefore produces a more sturdy product.

    Can supply products not listed on your order form? 

Plaster Brokers can provide you with any associated products available in any plasterboard store.

If you require products not listed on our order form, use the "other Products" category on our order form to list the item and the quantity. If you find there are not enough fields, call us or email us with the details.


    Do you supply decorative cornice? 

Yes.

All our stores have decorative cornice. The difficulty we face, is uniform availability of patterns throughout all the stores.

If you send us the pattern number, or image of the cornice you require and the closest store to you we will be able to let you know if we can provide that cornice or not.

Most of the Store provide the common patterns, so we will be able to provide you with most decorative cornices. We can also give you the store address, so you can go to the store and choose from their range.
